Rhinoplasty (RIE-no-plas-tee) is surgery that changes the shape of the nose. The motivation for rhinoplasty may be to change the appearance of the nose, improve breathing or both. A misshapen nose can lead to bad breath, congestion, or headaches. The aesthetic aspect can also be improved with cosmetic plastic surgery.
All incisions are placed inside the nose except for a tiny incision in the little column of skin that separates the nostrils. Open rhinoplasty allows the doctor to lift up the skin and soft tissue to expose the underlying cartilage and bone for precise adjustments.
1. Open Rhinoplasty
This is a traditional Rhinoplasty technique that doctors have been performing for many decades. All incisions are placed inside the nose, limiting access and visibility. The technique is most common for patients who want to narrow the nose, or to reduce or augment the bridge of the nose. Closed rhinoplasty is a common procedural choice when significant changes to the nose tip are not required.

Sleeve Gastrectomy
Septoplasty is designed to open the nasal airways, straighten the septum, and to an extent straighten the nose. The septum is also the best source of cartilage grafts when needed for more complex nose adjustments. Patients who opt for septoplasty have both cosmetic and functional goals for surgery.
3. Septoplasty
Sleeve Gastrectomy
The surgeon makes a number of incisions in the nostrils (closed nose correction) and/or at the base of the nose (open nose correction).
The surgeon can remodel the bone and cartilage into the desired shape through these small incisions.
The surgeon removes the irregularity (bump) from the bone on the bridge of the nose and can also bring the bones in the nose closer together to make the bridge of the nose smaller.
The cartilage in the tip of the nose is trimmed to give it a more beautiful shape.
Reworking the nasal septum lifts the tip of the nose and improves the angle between the nose and the upper lip.
A nose splint helps to keep the bone and cartilage in place during the first few days after the operation.
After the procedure, the surgeon will insert surgical tampons into each nostril which will absorb any fluid from the wound. The tampons can be removed after a few days. A nose splint protects the recently operated nose for between 5 and 10 days, depending on the nature of the operation.
The results of nose corrective surgery are permanent.

Tumescent liposuction
Ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL)
In this procedure, ultrasound is used to melt the fatty deposits. A new generation of UAL called VASER-assisted liposuction uses a device that may improve skin contouring and reduce the chance of skin injuries.
LASER-assisted liposuction (LAL)
This technique uses high-intensity laser light to break down fat and uses a cannula to remove the fat.
Power-assisted liposuction (PAL)
This technique uses a cannula that moves in a rapid back-and-forth motion. This vibration allows the surgeon to pull out tough fat more easily and faster. It causes less pain and swelling and helps the surgeon to remove fat with more precision.
This procedure is recommended to patients who have had a previous liposuction procedure.
